Quali dati raccogliamo
- Account: indirizzo email e, se usi l'accesso con Google, l'identificativo del tuo account Google. La password è gestita da Firebase Authentication e non la vediamo.
- Profilo: nome utente, ID pubblico generato dall'app, lingua e, se vuoi, una foto profilo. Confermi di avere almeno 18 anni.
- Gusti cinematografici: i voti che dai ai film, i film "da vedere" e i consigli che scambi con il tuo compagno (film, commento breve, risposta e voto).
- Abbinamenti e sicurezza: chi è stato abbinato a chi, l'affinità calcolata, gli utenti che blocchi e le segnalazioni che invii o ricevi (con gli ultimi consigli scambiati, come prova per la moderazione).
- Dati tecnici: indirizzo IP e informazioni sul dispositivo trattati dai nostri fornitori per far funzionare e proteggere il servizio.
Non raccogliamo la tua posizione, i tuoi contatti né dati di pagamento. Non facciamo pubblicità e non vendiamo i tuoi dati.
Cosa vedono gli altri utenti
Solo il tuo compagno di film vede: nome utente, foto, ID pubblico, la percentuale di affinità, i film che vi piacciono entrambi e i consigli che vi scambiate. Non vede la tua email né gli altri tuoi voti.
Perché trattiamo i dati
- Fornire il servizio: creare l'account, calcolare gli abbinamenti, scambiare consigli (esecuzione del contratto).
- Sicurezza e moderazione: bloccare abusi, spam e profili falsi (legittimo interesse).
- Obblighi di legge.
Fornitori che trattano i dati per noi
- Google Firebase Authentication: accesso e verifica dell'email.
- Cloudflare: sito, server, database e archiviazione delle foto profilo.
- TMDB (The Movie Database): elenco e locandine dei film. Gli inviamo solo le ricerche di film, non i tuoi dati personali. Questo prodotto usa l'API di TMDB ma non è approvato né certificato da TMDB.
Alcuni fornitori possono trattare dati fuori dallo Spazio Economico Europeo, con le garanzie previste dal GDPR (ad esempio le clausole contrattuali standard).
Per quanto tempo conserviamo i dati
Finché mantieni l'account. Se lo elimini cancelliamo profilo, voti, film da vedere, consigli, abbinamenti e foto. Le segnalazioni di abuso possono restare per il tempo necessario alla moderazione e alla tutela degli altri utenti. Un abbinamento fermo da 21 giorni viene chiuso automaticamente.
I tuoi diritti
Puoi chiedere accesso, correzione, cancellazione, portabilità dei dati, limitazione od opposizione al trattamento, scrivendo a . Puoi eliminare l'account da solo: dall'app (Profilo → Elimina account) oppure dalla pagina Elimina account. Hai anche il diritto di presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Minori
Il servizio è riservato a chi ha almeno 18 anni. Se scopriamo che un account appartiene a un minore, lo eliminiamo.
Modifiche
Se cambiamo questa informativa aggiorneremo la data in alto e, per le modifiche importanti, ti avviseremo nell'app.

This policy explains which data the Round Couch app processes and why. The data controller is . For any request write to .
Data we collect
- Account: email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account identifier. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and we never see them.
- Profile: username, a public ID generated by the app, language and, if you choose, a profile photo. You confirm that you are at least 18.
- Movie taste: the ratings you give to movies, your watchlist and the recommendations you exchange with your buddy (movie, short comment, reply and rating).
- Pairings and safety: who was paired with whom, the computed match score, the users you block and the reports you send or receive (with the latest recommendations exchanged, as evidence for moderation).
- Technical data: IP address and device information processed by our providers to run and protect the service.
We do not collect your location, your contacts or payment data. We show no ads and we do not sell your data.
What other users can see
Only your movie buddy sees your username, photo, public ID, the match percentage, the movies you both like and the recommendations you exchange. They do not see your email or your other ratings.
Why we process data
- To provide the service: create the account, compute pairings, exchange recommendations (performance of a contract).
- Safety and moderation: stop abuse, spam and fake profiles (legitimate interest).
- Legal obligations.
Providers processing data for us
- Google Firebase Authentication: sign-in and email verification.
- Cloudflare: website, servers, database and profile photo storage.
- TMDB (The Movie Database): movie lists and posters. We only send movie searches, not your personal data. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep data
As long as you keep your account. If you delete it we erase your profile, ratings, watchlist, recommendations, pairings and photo. Abuse reports may be kept for as long as needed for moderation and to protect other users. A pairing with no activity for 21 days is closed automatically.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection by writing to . You can delete your account yourself: in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on the Delete account page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Minors
The service is for people aged 18 or over. If we find an account belongs to a minor we delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, notify you in the app.
